How Personalization Works

From their name to the smallest detail, you’re in control of how your little one’s piece comes to life.

Simply enter your baby’s name, choose your favorite options, and preview your design when available. Once your order is placed, we keep your choices exactly as you made them - so what you see is what we make.

Personalization is what makes a PrettyBirds piece truly theirs. From the name you choose to the way it appears on the design, every detail starts with you.

1. Enter Their Name

Almost every PrettyBirds personalized product comes with a name field. Simply type the name exactly as you’d like it to appear on the finished piece.

Changed your mind? No problem. If you’d rather leave the product without personalization, simply press the space bar in the personalization field. Our system will recognize the blank space and leave the name off your design.

2. See It Before You Buy

For select products, our live preview lets you see your personalization directly on the design before placing your order.

Try different options and take a moment to make sure the name, font, and overall look feel right to you. Your live preview is there to help you make your choice with confidence.

3. What You See Is What We Make

Once your order is placed, your personalization is sent directly to our production team exactly as you entered it. We do not change capitalization, spelling, spacing, font choices, or other personalization details on your behalf.

So if you type “Lainey,” “LAINEY,” or “lainey,” that is exactly how it will be produced.

A little detail worth checking

Please take an extra moment to check capitalization and spelling before placing your order. Some fonts may make certain letters look different from what you’re used to, and occasionally a letter may visually resemble another character.

For products with live preview, these visual details are shown to you before checkout, so please review your preview carefully and make sure you’re happy with the final look.

4. Quick Note

We want every personalized piece to feel just right for you. That’s why we give you the opportunity to see your design before it goes into production whenever live preview is available.

Because your personalized design is created according to the choices you approve, we’re unable to accept responsibility for aesthetic preferences or visual interpretations that were visible in the live preview - including font appearance, letter shapes, capitalization, or how a particular name looks in the selected style.

But if your item arrives damaged or has a production defect, that’s different. We’ll make it right according to our store policy, including a free replacement or 100% compensation where applicable.

Every little detail matters when it carries their name. Take your time, preview when available, and make it yours.
